Goretti Fine Art - Studio.jpg

Goretti Fine Art is dedicated to producing original sacred, liturgical, and devotional artwork for public and private worship spaces. Built around the creative vision of artist-siblings George and Polly Capps, the studio specializes in custom altarpieces, murals, and paintings.

Our mission is to nourish the human spirit and to glorify God through beautiful, inspiring, and innovative imagery that speaks to contemporary experience, is grounded in the Judeo-Christian faith tradition, and builds upon the rich heritage of Western religious art.

This mission is driven by our core beliefs:

  • that beautiful art promotes human flourishing;

  • that well-ordered creative expression serves as a window to the Divine;

  • and that places of worship should embody the pinnacle of a community’s artistic achievement.

In pursuing our mission, we aim to create works that express ageless truths and will stand the test of time. We embrace progress but firmly reject a posture of radical discontinuity with the past. Instead, we build upon the achievements of the great masters of our tradition, producing art that resonates with present-day values while remaining in dialogue with those who came before.

By staying true to these principles and committed to the highest standards of professional quality in our craft, we aspire to eradicate the poverty of beauty that afflicts our modern world. Join us in making this vision a reality!
